Heli Hike departs from Franz Josef or Fox Glacier townships. Includes a scenic helicopter flight onto the glacier icefall, land and enjoy up to a three hour guided hike with a professional, experienced guide.

• Breathable rain jacket.
• Waterproof over-trousers.
• Hats and gloves.
• Socks and sturdy boots for great support and grip.
• Crampons – for superior glacier grip.

What you need to bring:

• 2 – 4 warm upper body layers.
• Quick drying trousers or shorts.
